Busking For Anxieties

Busking For Anxieties involves playing music on the streets and collecting anxieties instead of money. Through this I aim to reframe anxiety as a public issue, instead of a personal secret. Asking for people to share their personal worries in this way, creates a de-alienated space for free and open conversations about anxiety. Some of the anxieties collected were used to write songs to be returned to the individuals, giving them a personalised song allowing them to address and talk about their own anxiety issues in a new way. Other buskers have also got involved and together we’ve collected and shared anxieties from over 250 people on the streets of London. Check out the Video below!
